How to reach Certaldo.
At the exit of the Vagli
entrance drive turn left and go ahead on the country road without leaving
it until you reach the asphalt road. Turn right and go ahead on the same
road until you reach a junction. Turn left heading for Certaldo.
How to reach Colle Val
d’Elsa
At the exit of the Vagli
entrance drive, turn left and go ahead on the country road without leaving
it until you reach the asphalt road. Turn right and go ahead on the same
road until you reach a junction. Turn right heading for San Gimignano.
Drive around San Gimginano
and head for Poggibonsi. After about 2 km, near a furnace with sale of
terracotta vases, you reach a junction: turn right heading towards Colle
Val D’Elsa.
How to reach Florence
At the exit of the Vagli
entrance drive, turn left and go ahead on the country road without leaving
it until you reach the asphalt road. Turn right and go ahead on the same
road until you reach a junction. Turn right heading for San Gimignano.
Drive around San Gimginano
and head for Poggibonsi. Go ahead on the main road until you reach Poggibonsi
(ignoring the junction after about 2 km where one way goes right, near
a furnace with sale of terracotta vases. In Poggibonsi, follow the sign
for the motorway Siena-Florence called “Superstrada Siena-Firenze”.
How to reach Pisa
At the exit of the Vagli
entrance drive, turn left and go ahead on the country road without leaving
it until you reach the asphalt road. Turn left and go ahead on the same
road until you reach a junction. Turn right and go ahead until you reach
the road that goes from Volterra to Gambassi Terme. After about 400 m turn
left towards San Vivaldo, Montignoso, and head for Pontedera. At Il Romito,
follow the sign for Pisa.
How to reach Poggibonsi

it until you reach the asphalt road. Turn right and go ahead on the same
road until you reach a junction.

Poggibonsi (ignoring the junction after about 2 km where one way goes right,

How to reach Volterra
At the exit of the Vagli
entrance drive, turn left and go ahead on the country road without leaving
it until you reach the asphalt road. Turn left and go ahead on the same
road until you reach a junction.
You can turn either right
or left.
Turning left, go ahead until
you reach the road from Colle Val D’Elsa to Volterra: turn right here and
go ahead on the same road up to Volterra.
Turning right, go ahead
until you reach the road that comes from Gambassi Terme and leads to Volterra:
turn left here driving downhill. You will pass over a bridge and then turn
left following the sign for Volterra. From this side, when driving towards
the Etruscan city, you will have a marvellous view on the “Balze”, Volterra’s
characteristic tuff precipice. |
